Certificate
Rogue Community College’s Occupational Skills Training certificate program helps you earn a college credential while preparing to enter the workforce quickly. This flexible, student-centered program combines college coursework with hands-on practicum training at a local business site, allowing you to build real-world skills while earning credit. About half of your credits are earned through supervised training in the field.
The program is customized to meet your unique goals, interests and experience. With support from RCC faculty and input from workplace supervisors, you create an individualized learning plan that focuses on employment skills in your chosen field. Occupational areas are selected based on local job opportunities, available training sites and program fit, ensuring your training is relevant and purposeful. Credits earned may apply toward the Associate of General Studies degree.
