Rogue Community College’s Electrician Apprenticeship Technologies – Limited Electrician Certificate is designed for registered apprentices in the Limited Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship who want to earn a college credential while working toward journeyman status. This program builds on your state-approved apprenticeship training by adding for-credit general education courses, helping you strengthen communication, problem-solving and workplace skills without slowing your progress in the field.
Coursework aligns with Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries apprenticeship standards and supports the technical knowledge you need to safely repair and install electrical systems in compliance with national and state codes. As part of RCC’s Electrician Apprenticeship Pathway, this certificate supports quick entry into the workforce while also keeping doors open for advancement, including continued study toward an associate degree or transfer to a bachelor’s degree program.
