GED^® Testing

The first step is to create an account at GED.com.

Once you have created an account, you can schedule your exam(s) and make payments online. If you need to cancel or reschedule, you must go through your GED.com account or call the GED® helpline at 1-877-392-6433, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Central).

To receive a refund, you must cancel or reschedule at least one business day prior to your appointment.

RCC cannot create your account, take payments or schedule your test for you. 

You’ll take four tests to earn your GED®: 

• Reasoning Through Language Arts
• Social Studies
• Science
• Math

Each test costs $44 and you pay directly through GED.com or by calling the GED® helpline at 1-877-392-6433. All GED® testing is computer-based. Testing is offered in English and Spanish. 

NOTE: If you started your GED® before 2014 and didn’t finish, your file has expired and you will need to start over.

GED® testing is not available at the Riverside Campus in Medford.
