Electrical engineering courses build step by step, so starting in the right math and science classes is important. You are encouraged to work closely with the RCC Science Department to create a clear plan and stay on track throughout the program.
This program has prerequisite course requirements, which may be waived based on placement. Please see the Program Map in our academic catalog for more information.
Graduation Requirements
The Associate of Science – Engineering (Electrical) program requires the completion of 90-92 program credits in addition to prerequisite credits, which may be waived based on placement. Students must complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C” or better to earn a degree. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor or faculty advisor before beginning any coursework.
Due to the advanced and sequential nature of engineering coursework, some students may require additional time to complete the degree.
