submit your application to the college. After you apply, you’ll meet with an advisor
who will help you explore your program's options and create a plan that matches your

Steps to Become a Student
How to Get Started
The following steps must be completed before you are able to apply for the Advanced Emergency Care Certificate program.
- Apply to Rogue Community College. It’s free and only takes a few minutes online.
- Complete the Placement Process. This shows what math and writing classes you should start with first.
- Attend a New Student Orientation. Provides crucial information on campus resources, academic expectations and student life, helping you feel more prepared and connected.
- Meet with an Academic Advisor. They will help you choose classes and plan your schedule.
- Register for Classes. Once your schedule is set, you’re ready to register!
- Complete 25-26 credits of prerequisite coursework with a grade of “C” or better.
- After meeting all the Entry Requirements, apply for the Advanced Emergency Care Certificate program in line with the deadline for the upcoming academic year.
Access & Disability Services
If you feel that you may need academic accommodations, you should make an appointment
with RCC’s Access & Disability Services. It is important that you establish contact
at least 4 to 6 weeks before entering the program.
