The Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree is a two-year program that sets you up to transfer smoothly to an Oregon public university. When you finish the degree, you’ll have all your lower division general education requirements done, and you’ll enter your university with junior standing for registration. With good planning, you can complete many of the lower division courses required for your major before you transfer.  

Just keep in mind: If you transfer before finishing the AAOT, your classes will be evaluated one by one by the university you choose. To make the most of this degree, you’ll want to stay in close contact with your academic advisor — they’ll help you choose the best classes for your goals and keep your transfer path on track.
