Credits you earn in a Career Pathway Certificate program can roll directly into other certificates and degrees within the pathway. Graduation Requirements
The GTAW Welder Career Pathway Certificate requires the completion of 23-27 program credits and 4 prerequisite credits, which may be waived based on placement. Students must complete all courses outlined in this program with a grade of “C-” or better to earn a certificate. Some required courses are graded on a pass/no pass basis. A grade of “P” for these courses indicates whether a student earned the equivalent of a “C-” or better grade.
Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor or faculty advisor before beginning any coursework.

Credit for Prior Learning
The GTAW Welder program may be eligible for Credit for Prior Learning, meaning your work experience, training or other learning outside the classroom could count for college credit — helping you save time and reduce costs.
