Rogue Community College (RCC) affirms that all people have a right to learn. Consistent with our mission and commitment to open access, RCC provides equitable educational opportunities and fair treatment for all students, regardless of background or social position.

We are committed to fostering a learning environment grounded in respect, inclusion and student success. RCC supports the physical safety and emotional well-being of all students and strives to maintain campuses that are welcoming, secure and supportive for students and their families.

To uphold these commitments, RCC:

  • Protects the privacy of student information in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other applicable laws. The college does not disclose non-directory student information unless legally required.
  • Does not inquire about a student’s immigration status or that of their family members.
  • Provides access to resources and support services that promote student success and well-being, including advising, counseling, culturally responsive support and processes for reporting concerns or incidents.
  • Maintains safe and inclusive spaces where students can seek support and access resources.
  • Retains authority over access to college property and will only permit law enforcement activity as required by law or in response to an immediate health or safety concern.

RCC is committed to upholding the principles of equity, dignity, and respect for all members of our campus community.
